Nommo is the, monthly interactive session for the Afrikan community, presented by the Alkebu-Lan Revivalist Movement. On the last Friday of every month, you can rap, reason and re-energise with like-minded Sisters and Brothers through film, music and the spoken word in its many forms.

We mark the coming of the Olympics to the UK by taking a special look at the triumphs & challenges of Afrikan athletes in history of these international events.

From Jesse Owens to Muhammad Ali to Wilma Rudolph to John Carlos & Tommie Smith, join us as we explore what went in making these great men & women the people that they were. Through film, presentation and discussion we will take a closer look at the lives of these champions on and off the field, the challenges they overcame the courageous stances they took and the impact they had on the Afrikan people and the world as a whole.
