Call for Panels and Workshops!

This year Left Forum 2020 will return to LIU Brooklyn from May 29th-31st to bring together grassroots groups, activists, academics, and thoughtful people under the theme New Socialisms Rising. We invite you to submit workshops, panels and film screenings to discuss and debate the experiences, strategies and theories that can help build united movements that create the radical and systemic social changes we need now! Left Forum 2020 wants to celebrate, analyze and debate new socialisms and radical alternatives that are rising across the world in order to strengthen our struggles. We aim to discuss socialism's different forms and interpretations, the lessons we might learn from the past, and what potential socialist futures could mean or be. 
Through our new collaboration with The Center for Critical Thought, this conference inaugurates an intensified and ongoing project of educating eachother and debating strategies while building solidarity! Our first submission deadline is March 9th so be sure to get your completed submission in as soon as possible!

Volunteer with Left Forum

We’re a small organization with a dedicated group of organizers. If you would like to volunteer with us and help organize this year's conference as well as help with other events and collaborations such as The Center for Critical Thought we would love to hear from you! Please email us at volunteer@leftforum.org with your resume attached and tell us a bit about yourself so we can figure out the best way for you to plug in and help us organize. We could especially use help with social media, outreach, program development, graphic design, fundraising and event planning!
