Pass the Word...Confirm your voter registration status! Deadline is October 9th!!! NEED TO REGISTER?
To confirm my voter registration,   I went to this site http://www.votetexas.gov/. I was double-checking, as I have my valid voter registration card  hard copy so I knew I should be in the database == well--what I found was that my card was confirmed only when I used the option to give my name which worked, when I tried giving my drivers license   & DOB they couldn't find me. Go to http://www.votetexas.gov/ to confirm your voter registration status and polling location.  You can also change your address.  Be prepared!  The deadline to register is October 9th!  Early voting begins October 22nd!!
