CHEF ANISSA CELEBRATES SISTERHOOD WITH NEWARK COLLEGIATE ACADEMY
2nd Annual Sisterhood Brunch focuses on “Forming Strong Relationships Through Female Camaraderie”
NEWARK, N.J. – MAY 1, 2013 – Chef Anissa brings the Urbyn Kitchen to the public as she joins Newark Collegiate Academy in uniting the female community at their 2nd Annual Sisterhood Brunch on May 18th. Attendees will be empowered by a keynote speaker while treated to a light brunch then participate in break-out sessions of their choosing by presenters Chef Anissa, The Budgetnista, Self-Defense Instructors Ms. King & Ms. Swearinger and representatives from Sephora.
In her workshop, IN NEED OF A QUICK MEAL?, Chef Anissa will teach participants an easy nutritious meal while sharing other ways to create time saving, delicious, and nutritious meals from simple ingredients. She will also provide her “Urbyn Kitchen Tips” on getting families to eat more vegetables and turning simple meals gourmet with one or two ingredients.
“I’m excited to attend the Sisterhood Brunch. I’m also glad to be a part of something meaningful to the community. It is a chance to show women that we can get together to share recipes and bond over good food cooked with love. That it doesn’t have to be a catfight all the time” stated Chef Anissa.
