In December 2012 I traveled to the Democratic Republic of the Congo on a fact-finding delegation. I vowed to the people
of the Congo that I would share their story and raise awareness about the worst humanitarian crisis in the world that
has resulted in over 6 million killed, 2 million women and girls raped and 2.2 million displaced from their homes.
