KowTeff understands the importance of community, creativity, and culture, even in times of crisis. Due to COVID-19 and the cancellation of our traditional outdoor festival celebrating Juneteenth, we're curating something new that delivers these elements straight to your electronic devices! For the love of community, KowTeff will be launching #KowTeffCares, COVID-19 recovery efforts fueled by the spirit of Juneteenth!  For 5 consecutive weeks leading up to the historic Juneteenth holiday, KowTeff will virtually deliver COVID-19 relief efforts inspired by the signature elements of our Juneteenth Celebration: The Health and Wellness Expo, Children's Zone, Juneteenth Performance, African Marketplace, Dance Classes, and Outdoor House Party! We invite you to join our #KowTeffCares initiative! Participation will be rewarding for your mind, body, and spirit. Simply follow KowTeff on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, and look out for our weekly posts. Engage by sharing, liking, commenting, and taking part in our virtual dance, fitness, and drum classes. Take advantage of activities and resources for both children and adults, as well as online discounts to cultural products and services through our African Marketplace vendors. Entertain yourself culturally by watching exciting highlights of past performances by KowTeff and other artists from our Juneteenth Celebrations. Since music is our medicine, we'll close out our celebration in high spirits with a #KowTeffCares virtual dance party featuring a live set by DJ Juwandi on Juneteenth Day!
