A New Year’s Shout-Out to the Women of the World (Española aqui) Sisters, what a year it’s been! Through it all you have been there on the frontlines resisting femicide and oppression, asserting Black Lives Matter!, and fighting for equality, health, and a better world for all. You have taken the lead from Seattle to Melbourne, from the plazas of Mexico City and Buenos Aires, the mass revolts in Poland, Nigeria, India, and Hong Kong, and the combat zones of Rojava and Palestine. Your courage shines as frontline workers in hospitals, nursing homes, grocery stores and childcare centers. You battled discriminatory healthcare and poverty in indigenous communities and exposed forced sterilization in immigrant detention centers. You stood up for reproductive justice. You demanded safe schools and workplaces in the midst of unprecedented pandemic. You battled racists, homophobic assaults, and police repression across continents. Your heart and strength have held firm despite immense pressures and uncertainty.   Radical Women salutes you!   We look to 2021 as the year in which the pandemic subsides and the struggle flourishes – the struggle to expose the poisonous capitalist system and build a socialist society that serves the needs of working people and the planet. Un saludo de Año Nuevo a las mujeres del mundo   Hermanas, ¡qué año hemos tenido! En todo momento, ustedes han estado en primera línea resistiendo el feminicidio y la opresión, reafirmando Black Lives Matter!, y luchando por la igualdad, la salud y un mundo mejor para todos. Han sido líderes desde Seattle hasta Melbourne, desde las plazas de la Ciudad de México y Buenos Aires, en las revueltas masivas de Polonia, Nigeria, India y Hong Kong, y en las zonas de combate de Rojava y Palestina. Su valor brilla como trabajadoras de primera línea en hospitales, hogares de ancianos, supermercados y guarderías. Ustedes han luchado en contra de la discriminación en la atención médica y contra la pobreza en las comunidades indígenas y han puesto en evidencia la esterilización forzada en los centros de detención de inmigrantes.
