FLOR DE TOLOACHE

Friday, November 10  |  7:30PM

Making their Harlem Stage debut is the Latin GRAMMY Award-winning Flor de Toloache. Taking their name from the legendary Toloache flower, still used today as a love potion in Mexico, this culturally diverse ensemble is New York City's first, and only, all-female mariachi band. With a contemporary flair, they push the boundaries of centuries old traditional Mexican music. After their Tiny Desk performance, NPR Music stated, "There should be fireworks named after this band, for all the intensity and color and life that bursts forth from Flor de Toloache." Fall under their spell on Friday, November 10 at 7:30PM. Presented in partnership with Carnegie Hall Citywide.
