We did it! Over $50k raised for Cuba humanitarian aid

Dear SendMeYourNews,

We did it! Thanks to your incredible generosity, we have surpassed our $50,000 fundraising goal! This means we are now able to send a 60,000-pound container of humanitarian aid to Cuba this summer, standing in steadfast solidarity with our Cuban siblings. This shipment, filled with critically needed medical equipment, surgical supplies, hygiene goods, and nonperishable food, will soon be on its way to support communities facing the harshest set of sanctions in decades.

This monumental effort is made possible because of you and through our vital partnership with the National Council of Churches in Cuba, who will work alongside us to distribute this aid directly into the hands of the Cuban people. Just as IFCO/Pastors for Peace has done for over 30 years through our Friendshipment Caravans, this shipment is a powerful act of people-to-people solidarity and a clear rejection of the U.S. blockade's inhumane impact. Together, we are not just sending supplies; we are sending a clear message that the people of the United States stand with the Cuban people.

This is a testament to what we can achieve when we organize and act in the spirit of justice. For more details on the shipment’s contents, the history of the Friendshipment Caravans, and how you can continue to support this work, we invite you to visit the IFCO/Pastors for Peace website: ifconews.org.

Next week, we will be packing the container. Follow us on social media to see our updates. Stay tuned for more "Solidarity Campaigns" and more . Thank you for being part of this movement!
