Saturday, Sept 30th 11am-2pm This coming Saturday, September 30th, there will be a commemoration of the life and work of Dr. Mutulu Shakur, who pioneered acupuncture as a treatment for addiction at the People's Detox Center. Friends and comrades of Dr. Shakur will share testimonials and celebrate our soon-to-be home to HEArts Community Center for Health, Education, and the Arts. The event is from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at 349 E 140th St, in front of the former People's Detox Center adjacent to Willis Avenue playground.    RSVP Here!
