We’re just ONE WEEK from KowTeff’s 2026 Juneteenth Celebration!

Join us for a full day of culture, rhythm, movement, music, and community joy as we honor 16 years of our Juneteenth Festival and 35 years of KowTeff’s legacy in Brooklyn. And yes — everything is FREE and open to the community.

This year is especially historic as KowTeff joins forces with four powerhouse Brooklyn organizations — Asase Yaa Cultural Arts Foundation, Brooklyn Jumbies, Inc., Project E.C.H.O., and Something Positive, Inc. Together, these partners bring decades of cultural preservation, youth empowerment, and Diasporic artistic excellence. Their aligned missions strengthen every part of the festival, from the electrifying stage performances to the African Diasporic dance classes, children’s programming, and our resources for community empowerment.

We’ll also honor KowTeff’s 35-year journey of edutainment, community building and cultural stewardship with a special anniversary moment at 2:15pm in the Courtyard.
