This Saturday, bring the kids to KowTeff’s 16th Annual Juneteenth Celebration at Restoration Plaza for a full day of free youth activities celebrating culture, movement, and joy! Our Children’s Zone is packed with hands‑on fun and creative experiences for all ages — from dance and art to games and carnival excitement. ✨ Youth-Friendly Activities Include: West African Dance Class (12PM–1PM) with Fofoo Attiso Afro Caribbean Dance Class (1:15PM–2:15PM) with Something Positive's Careitha Davis Carnival Procession & Performances (2:15PM–3PM) featuring Ballet Fè Sa, Something Positive, and Brooklyn Jumbies Face Painting & Balloon Art (3PM–5PM) with Mr. Vee Tabletop & Virtual Reality Gaming (3PM–5PM) with Fun Bash Plus Arts & Crafts! Step into the rhythm of West Africa with master dancer, cultural educator, and choreographer Fofoo Attiso, who shares his artistry from Ghana to audiences of all ages. With decades of experience since age nine, he blends traditional African, Hip Hop, freestyle, and contemporary dance into powerful performances and workshops. His classes blend authentic West African technique, storytelling, and community spirit, inviting dancers of all levels to connect with ancestral rhythm and cultural pride.
