Deepak has worked with the bank for approximately 10 years, starting off as a Project Control Officer and moving his way up to a Program Manager. He has been part of the banks transformational projects such as implementing a new workflow (including introducing electronic scanning), connecting the front office to the back office, and changing the way Scotiabanker's work by introducing activity-based working. Deepak is currently running the voice project for Scotiabank which is designed to connect back end infrastructure globally.

As a senior member of the leadership team at the Canadian Black Chamber of Commerce, she is responsible for political engagement and was an integral part of the national launch. She also plays a pivotal role in operations and chamber management. During 2020 whilst consulting at the Chamber she launched Connectivity Consultancy, which specializes in connecting consultants with the right projects, jobs and employers with the right people.
